Clare Mahoney Ceramics are now at The Gallery Norfolk.
Ceramicist Clare Mahoney’s beautiful pebbles, hearts and touch stones, made from moulded porcelain, are all decorated individually using natural forms and fauna such as leaves, dandelions and butterflies.
Clare makes casts from found objects and pebbles to create the porcelain shapes, the size being based around the physicality of the hand.
Clare studied at The Glasgow school of Art, going on afterwards to take an MA at Howard Gardens in Cardiff. She has also studied at The Baltimore Institute in Maryland and works with potters in Sanoma, California.
